We are looking for someone to cover a one year maternity leave in the
role of Technical Writer/Editor as well as the support of the
applications we use in this area. We are currently using Infopak from
RWD, Doc-to-Help, and Help & Manual.
The
ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years experience as a technical
document editor, working with various electronic publishing media.
Further, the successful candidate will be technically savvy enough to
be able to take on technical and user support of the applications we
use to create our documentation. Consideration will also be given for
experience in the area of corporate communications, with experience
working with intranets and internet sites.
The successful
candidate will be able to handle multiple tasks from multiple sources
and will have experience working with project teams to create and
deliver training documentation and work to maintain current
documentation to ensure it is current. Additionally, this candidate
will attend and contribute to district committee and team meetings;
taking and preparing minutes using familiarity and understanding of
company structure and processes.
In depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite is a must, Microsoft Word in particular.
