Title: Privacy Specialists

Our Client:
Our client plays a key role in enabling the use of electronic medical records (EMRs) by physicians to improve patient care and support best practice care delivery within Alberta's electronic health environment.

What We Need:
Our client has an ongoing need for Privacy Specialists who ideally have healthcare experience and a proven track record delivering on functions similar to what's listed below.

Specific Duties:

• Assist clinics with the identification of privacy and security threats and risks.
• Provide recommendations to mitigate issues and assist in providing strategies for conformance to the Health Information Act (HIA).
• Provide accurate and concise information to clinics to assist in fulfilling the custodian
• s obligation under the HIA.
• Assist custodians during completion of the Privacy Impact Assessments, including supporting policies and procedures.
• Provide an assessment of clinic needs relating to security/privacy of information, through an on-site visit.
• Provide training to clinics, physicians and staff, either in person or at training sessions for large groups.

Things You Need to Have:

• Post-secondary education in Social Science, Law, Information Science, Access/Privacy or related discipline and/or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5-10 years in relevant experience (Privacy Impact Assessments, Privacy and/or Security related experience). Priority will be given to candidates with healthcare experience.
• Preference will be given to candidates that are enrolled in or have completed the IAPP certification at the University of Alberta.
• Experience in the development of policies and procedures related to privacy, security and access.
• Knowledge of privacy legislation and fair information management practices.
• Working knowledge of the Health Information Act and/or other similar Canadian privacy and access legislation.
• Ability to travel within the province is an asset.
• Strong communication and presentation skills

Our client, a Global Foreign Exchange Broker, is looking for a Treasury Manager. The Treasury Manager will establish and manage the Treasury area within the Back Office of the foreign exchange transactions and payments area. As a key member of the Back Office operations, the position will be primarily responsible for managing the cash flow of the business operations. The Treasury Manager will be responsible for supporting business cash needs, day-to-day banking activities, and all around improvement with cash controls.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and create strategies to improve return on cash
• Analyze short and long term cash flow forecasts
• Assist and comply with the compliance department with the control procedures
• Assist senior management with regular monthly reporting
• Review daily cash reporting
• Driving the automation of treasury activities such as automation of bank reconciliations, wire payments, and global cash reporting.
• Liaise with and maintain good bank relationships on matters of credit and daily operations
• Prepare monthly and quarterly Treasury reports
• Develop, implement and ensure leading practices and sound internal controls over all cash management processes and activities mitigating risk
